Morning selfie!
On the very last day we are all set to Bei Tou to 泡温泉!
Posing with the display at Xin Bei Tou train station :)
The design of the train is so colorful!
After alighting at the station, we walked an estimated of 20 mins? to finally reach this Spa Spring location. Walking under the scorching sun was not a funthing to do!
We were given 2 choices of either rooftop hotspring experience or indoor experience. We chose the latter as we cannot imagine another hour in the blazing hot sun!
Had to take pictures with the cute teddy bears at the lobby
The hotspring package comes with complimentary tea time selection of cakes and drinks :)
After this, we headed to the Fisherman’s Wharf (淡水漁人碼頭) as planned to catch the sunset.
Absolutely love the 便利店 in Taiwan. So equipped with everything! They even have tea-eggs.
Beautiful view of the sunset. The place is pretty empty as we went there on a Tuesday. My friend told me that she was there previously on a Saturday and it was super packed with tourists.
Us posing against the background of the famous lovers’ bridge
Stuff we tabao back to the hotel for supper! Sinful cup noodles slurps
Hello Kitty in Taiwan Airport!
Ordered this meal in the airport to share before heading home to Singapore. My favourite 鲁肉饭 you have been missed!!
I really want to visit Taiwan again to explore the other areas. 4 days is simply insufficient to visit all interesting sites. And i missed the Hello Kitty cafe when i was there :’( as it was undergoing renovation.
I don’t seem to have much fate with travelling this year.. was supposed to go to Hong Kong during the Labour Day holiday but one day before departing i actually had food poisoning and we had to cancel the trip. Sigh… hopefully we have the time to arrange for the trip in year end. *cross fingers*
